Description
Daffodils are one of the telltale signs of Spring, and I always leap at the chance of buying them, alongside my weekly shopping as soon as they appear in the super market.
The challenge for me is to create unusual images of items that are so familiar. I loved how, just before they opened, the dark stems were almost silhouetted against the pale afternoon light. This is a theme I revisited in Daffodils in blue.
