ABOUT
India Whitwell is an award winning artist, who currently lives in the northernly Orkney Islands with her husband Jack and adapted greyhound Peggy.
Since graduating from Newcastle University in 2018, she has gone on to be selected for the Mall Galleries FBA Futures, exhibited with The Edition, The Old School Gallery and Morgan’s of Falmouth.
India works largely in oil paint, but also works in etching too, preferring aquatint. Her work is available to view here.
She founded both Orkney Cloth and Orkney Art Club, with an interest in the community and sustainability.
